164 TS Alloy Wheels

Hey all,

I was wondering as the alloys on my 164 are not exactly brilliant (the good old problem of lifting lacquer!!) if anyone had a set of 4-stud alloys of a decent condition that they are looking to get rid.

The other option is if anyone has a set that I could borrow whilst I refurbish my wheels it would be really great.

Thanks in advance.

I have a grand total of 15 wheels for the 166.

5X 16" pepperpots
5X 17" horse shoes
5X 18" light weight racing... Halford specials!

They take up alot of space!

Re: 164 TS Alloy Wheels

I bought them from a srappy for £120. As I rolled them into my cubored I realised why the 166 was in the srcrapy. The inside of the tyres are worn completely flat. So four new tyres needed. There is one good F1 eagle I was planning to make it the spare tyre. There are a few marks around the rim I was planing to tidy them up myself.

To be honest I'm not sure if I want to sell them. My plan was to wait until my current 18"'s are needing new tyres and replce them with the 17"'s

Cheers Stuart

Have you found a thread that really helped you maintain your 166? Please PM me the link!

Re: 164 TS Alloy Wheels

I have a set of Mille Miglia Alloys for a 164, they look awesome on the car! Id never have a 164 without these alloys!, No tyres tho.

They take 17, 215, 45

But the make the 164 look real mean and just that little bit more modern!! Also got some cloverleaf seats. Let me know, i need to get rid of asap really!

Re: 164 TS Alloy Wheels

You can just get them refrubished. If you take your car in to one of these places first thing in the morning, they do them the same day. I think it worked out at about £50 a wheel when I had mine done a few years ago and the results were outstanding - they were like new again and well worth the money.
