Sacrilege!
Hey guys, we are having a little heated discussion in the cool wall concerning the Citroen c6 about whether it is cool or not!
I of course, think it is incredibly uncool but one particular member thinks it is cool and is in fact france's answer to the 166!!
So do me a favour, vote it uncool and give that member a piece of your mind!
cheers

Re: Sacrilege!
Hey I wasn't being that serious. Don't flame me just cause it has some things in common with our cars (big flagships with lots of depreciation).
You might notice I didn't compare the driving experience or anything.
Plus if you read the "what would persuade you out of your 166" thread you might realise that there are quite a few 166ers who fancy the C6.

Re: Sacrilege!
I think it's a great piece of design. I've seen a few of them in the metal and they look really nice. Excellent interior design, too, and plenty of useful technology (HUD is especially good). I haven't driven one yet but it won't be comparable to the 166, as it doesn't have any sporting pretentions and is auto-only on the V6s. I'm certainly considering one as a 166 replacement.

Re: Sacrilege!
Sorry Jules, I do think it's cool. I think Citroen aleays try to come up with something different and I appreciate that.

Re: Sacrilege!
likewise, never driven one, but a C6 is definitely cool and a very desirable large saloon

Re: Sacrilege!
C6 is definitely cool...come on guys, just because we like Alfa's ,does not mean we cannot be objective..Citroen history goes far back..DS cars were way ahead of anything Alfa could muster in those days..1950's...remember? Oh Sorry, most of you guys were not even born then...Neither was I , come to think of IT!!!!!!!

Re: Sacrilege!
Yep - 166 owners have, on the whole, displayed the fine taste we always knew they had

Re: Sacrilege!
cool
saw one at classic car show
said before but back to classic citroen, god knows why they try and replicate the germans
oh yes the citroen zara thingy - knew there would be a reason.
long live the C6 I say and I only hope residuals are so poor that it becomes a future cult car.
i'd have one (if I couldn't find a good 166 of course)

What do you mean 'hope'? Starting at almost £40K for a 2.7 HDi Exclusive, a sub-3 year old car can now be had for £16K . Can't expect any heavier depreciation that that, can you?!

Re: Sacrilege!
i would suggest given the 166's interesting front end styling most 166 owners appriciate the styling of the current C6, im not saying it is in any way a good car but cool? yes very, mad as a box of frogs? without a doubt.
