166 Full Alfa service history .Has yours got 1.

Yet again another prime example with a "full" "Alfa" service history. on ebay.

The year is now 2008 and the mileage is 115,000.

"She comes with a full Alfa Romeo Autovogue of Northhampton service history with Eight stamps in the book including a last service at 83,000 miles in December 2002. "

Isn't the trading standards regulations just amazing in the Uk.Or is it just me.

BUT the best is yet to come.

" All the warning lights on the dash go out which is nice! Due to the cherished number transfer i only have the green section of the V5 but this can be used to tax the car at a post office. Due to this i cannot tell you how many owners are on the V5 but i would guess it is very few due to car being serviced in the same dealer all its life. Good luck bidding on this lovely car."

But it doesn't come with the plate V6AOC....Is that an Alfa owners Club No or Alfaowner.com owner plate.

Also NB

"She is an Alfa so it would be silly of me to say she is perfect, so the faults i have found are cruise control not working, remote fob not working and the air con is not cold but may only need regassing."

WHAT Ok well mines are a wee bit roughy but to me they are PERFECT.

Well they are old cars.

Can anyone recall how long this one has been hanging about...Recall seeing the pics a long time ago.

i would have gone for dougies facelift in a few years time but that is all water under the bridge now.

I am making progress now she now wants to get rid of my 2 scrappers and get a new brera...perhaps in a few years time when pomeo and lacey are giving me trouble.

till then i'll stick with what i have.

on the subject of eBay sellers

my favorate are the ones that tell you what a great car it was BEFORE the horiffic crash.

The Brera is a nice car. but I think the 166 is better.

There on chrome of brass under the bonnet of the brera. it sound nice but not great.

We will see - Brera is not praying on my mind that much which is surprising, possibly because it has the sensible diesel which means I have used my head to help in the purchase.

The Ti was a total purchase via the heart - I will miss my shiny inlet pipes! Only a plastic cover to clean now!

I am entitled to my opinion! Its normally wrong though!

We can have a 166 Vs Brera debate it might by quite fun before we revert to name calling!

Re: 166 Full Alfa service history .Has yours got 1.

I've just check it dose have a full service history but It needs one when I get the MOT done!

Just remembered that it needs to be done annually so there was absolutely no point in me saying that!

Cheeky bugger . It was only one cheap (ie. special offer) oil and filter and it was top quality oil plus the original Alfa filter, with work done by the official dealer. So there .
