Another thing

Due to a number of stone chips on my screen, am thinking of paying the excess on my isurance and getting a new screen.

My worry is, will Autoglass and the like be able to fit one without breaking the rain sensor? Mine works, and works well, so I would miss it if it stopped working after a bodged windscreen install.

Are there any other electronics around the screen which might also be affected?

Any experiences?

Im just having windscreen raplaced on monday by the offical Alfa mechanic. My rain sensor doesnt work, so im hoping it will work with the new windscreen. .

Heated wires at the bottom of mine to stop the wipers freezing to screen.
