News from the M East

For those of you politics lovers, a new accord was finally reached today between different Lebanese factions ending a cold war that has been going since 2005 paralizing the country and its economy.
We will finally have a new President [ empty post since Nov 07],
a new government and hopefully a new economy....
On this note , I can gladly welcome anyone who wants to visit a country that is not only known for its beauty and climate but also for its religious diversity.[ No less than 18 religions ]..We have beautifull beach resorts:
EddéSands-Home Page-Beach Resort & Wellness
high cedar mountains [ 3200 meters].
It is said that in April/May you could swim and ski in the same day, even though I've never done it myself..[more of a sea person]..
On this note , I can encourage myself to go out and buy this second Alfa [ Spider 3.0 24V] and know the fact that I will be able to pay for it..
There u go,all in all a good day's news..But I'm sure you'll hear about it on CNN or tonight's news on the BBC.........

Oh No Dafi

You do relise this will be moved to the spider lounge so to assist you retain it here

How much is it to recore a 166 yes 166 radiator if it's out the car and it is £20 to remove it do it and refit it.

Good news hopefully we will follow suit sooner rather than later.

How much is petrol a litre there ...I'm thinking of emigraating to Venezula if they'll have me and 2 166's as it is 2p a litre there apparantly AND THEY ARE MAKING A PROFIT OR THEY WOULDN@T BE DOING IT>

Still to check it out though as all that pleasure there must be pain somewhere in the clause.

Re: News from the M East

The only negative thing to come out of this is that with a new government, they will activate those speed traps they've had installed recently............Bye Bye full power...Hello better fuel consumption...
Well, it was bound to happen...I hear you can drive flat out in the Saudi desert..I'm not sure the 166 can take the heat though!!!

Re: News from the M East

Re fuel prices, we're having crazy weekly increases here..Same in Europe?? Prices increased 50% in the last 2 years..Still 1L of Super costs 0.65 EU cent or 0.5 pence..But for Lebanese wages it's way too much...As for heat, we already had over 30C here and the 166 keeps steady at just under 90C,even with AC on..Be carefull of the fuse and relay for the AC fan, they tend to go..I replaced mine...
