Idea front light dirty inside

Helo, in my 166, it appeared in the headlights in front some spots inside the lighthouse.

Does anyone know if there is any way to clean that stain?
Thank you

Re: front light dirty inside

I think you would have to take off the bumper, remove the lamp and see if front clear section can be removed, possibly prising it apart then sticking it back on with sealer after cleaning, as I am guessing it is a sealed unit. This may be a good idea as it seems strange that it is dirty inside, does it mist up? - Maybe the seal is broken and water is penetrating!?

As space is limited i doubt that you could get a bottle brush in with it in situ but worth a try - Take the bulbs out and give it a bash.

Good Luck

It has to be Italian! Fiat, Lancia & Alfa all my days.

That's annoying I bet. As Dougie says, looks like the seal is already letting some moisture in - they're not cheap either. Has it got worse over a period? Probably best to fix properly by removing and gaining proper access to the lens.

IF there anything like the 156 lights, then they can be opened takes time though as you have to prizze them of and they are full of sticky masteck which takes ages to clean out. when your at it you might as well make them into GTA headlights look alikes, just spray the silver bit black but not the back part which is reflective.
