Re: Chavved Up 166?
I don't mind it tbh. Seen much worse.
Rims look ok from an angle but front on the spokes look too thin imho.
That's not a factory colour either is it?

how does an engine sound smooth?
don't think it looks too bad apart from wheels, colour sub-woofer and tinted windows!

He's right about those spokes - WAY too thin! An why do folks mess with their cars? Is it just me?

Re: Chavved Up 166?
Apart from the tint I think it looks alright , even if the filter is in the wrong place. Maybe he has ditched the stock "waste bin" filter and merely let the air through it?
Is that a 156 colour? I was almost about to buy one in a similar colour some years ago....

It looks the same colour as my 156. Respray?
Still, doesn't look too bad, maybe change the wheels and sort out some stuff in the engine bay, it'd be alright

Watch out guys.... the new owner of said delight may well end up on here..... maybe askin about that funny looking bean tin on the roof and the dodgy wheels....
maybe he'll want to return it to its former glory..... or maybe just go the whole hog and re-upholster the seats in Burbury!!

Re: Chavved Up 166?
Not chavvy looking to me - I think it looks good.
The straight through intake pipe replaces the 166 resonator box so should give more growl and maybe a wee bit more grunt, similar to GTA intake system.

Re: Chavved Up 166?
Im with Dougie on this one. Its not that bad. It looks like an Alfa colour and the alloys are not too bad, really need to have thicker spokes. Ive seen a lot worse done to an Alfa!!

They specifically do it to annoy those who want to drive identi-kit cars and moan if anyone dares even think about adding non standard parts to a car....

Re: Chavved Up 166?
I got to say if I had some spare cash and some money to change the alloys, I'd give this car a shot, looks a nice example of a 166

Re: Chavved Up 166?
The colour is fine, just weird to see it on a 166 and -at least for me- takes some getting used to. I wouldn't fall in love with it at the first glance. But...looking at the open doors and hood and check the rubbers etcetera, it doesn't look like a quick and cheap all-over paintjob. The interior leathers also doesn't look really worn out.
So I think if you don't get distracted by the blue, is is a neat car, but the seller needs to bump into the right person that likes this color.
Agree with midlifecrises, this could be the Alfa 147 blue?

Re: Chavved Up 166?
I dont think it looks too bad either.
Being picky tho, i'd take off that thing on the roof and the orrible chrome numberplate surrounds. And maybe could do with a lighter window tint.
i think the exhaust looks good, quite like the colour and the debadging.
not sure if the red calipers go with the rest of the look like.
At least it hasnt got a stupid spoiler nailed on the bootlid!!
