Lets get Tony on the case!! Italy does sound good!! What a convoy that would be. Probably cost £500 in fuel though!

I wondered if anyone on the forum had done a similar long drive (i anticipate doing about 2000 miles in two and a half weeks)? Any encouraging words? Or words of advice? Or caution? Obviously I will have a full service beforehand!

PS Has anyone used Italian Car Spares in Poole for a service/MOT? Any recommendations for a local (Bournemouth) Alfa specialist?
LOl I have just got back from driving my 159 through to Tuscany & broke down on the side of a mountain!....It was a great road rip tho through Mont Blanc some superb driving have fun & definatley get a service before you go. I had a bit of a nightmare convering with the Itallian Alfa gargage so suggest you brush up on some basic language to cover you in the event of a possible problem :-) Good luck & have fun. PS LD Lines have a ferry service that will take you over to Corsica from the south of france it's quite reasonable
