new tyres for a 159 Ti
Now in the market for a set of 4 tyres for my 2010 JTD Ti.
Replacing the OEM Pirelli Zero Nero GTs after just 40k.
Research so far (and comments on a local Australian forum) suggest the factory 235/40 19s are more expensive and better value can be had by fitting a 245/40 19s.
Locally there doesn't appear to be any issues but having said this the sample size is considerably smaller than in the UK.
(1) Any issues with running this size in the UK ???
(2) Locally we have a 4 for 3 offer on Continental tyres and the new Contact Sport 6 seem attractive.
My only concern his that most reports I read claim Continental are not as good wearing as some other brands, e.g. Michelin, Bridgestone, Good Year...
I've always been a bit of stickler for running correct sizes so hoping others can allay any fears.
Thanks to all in advance!
