2.4 Remap / Egr Blank etc - Any Mainenance after ?

I have a 2.4 spider JTDM , it was reamapped - egr blank ( I think ) DPF removed by Angel Tuning ( Previous Owner )

I used to previously on my 1.9 gt , clean the egr valve and surrounding area of the soot etc

If it has been blanked etc , is there a need to do any cleaning etc ?

All Advice appreciated

I'm sure somebody far more knowledgeable than me can confirm one way or the other.
My logic suggests that because the EGR valve is no longer being used and the port blanked then forget it.
The main issue with the damn things is the soot/carbon they create when working or worse when they stick open.

If it turns out I'm wrong I wonder why it was worth blanking in the first place

Nope! Not unless it's not blanked.
Only issue is if you come to want to use it one day (mines blanked both sides)
