They do look stunning though

so does this remove the back box and just have a straight thru pipe???

Yeah we don't put silencers in them, they are straight through with 100mm tailpipes, polished stainless steel rolled tips similar in design to the originals. They fit the cut-outs leaving a 10mm gap all the way round. All stainless steel, CNC bent tube, fully TIG welded.

Does your 2L diesel have dual exit exhausts or just one exit on the left hand side?

Ah ok - if you had a 1.9 JTDM it'd be easy, as on those you can fit a 2.4 dual middle section and then a pair of Wizard backboxes. But you can't do that on a 2.0, you'd need to do a bit of fabricating to make a dual exit centre section.

We could do it for you at our workshop in Bicester, Oxfordshire if its something you're interested in.

What makes the sound deeper the pipes being wider and the fact that there is no silencer?

Yeah they are Wizard Exhausts, the deepness of the exhaust note is just the natural sound of the engine, the factory exhausts are huge silencers which basically get rid of everything.

Yeah we got it on the 26th April, thanks. I'll be in touch when they are ready to go and we can sort the balance then. Cheers

Once I get the funds would love to do this on 1.9 JTDM Diesel, twin exhausts would be fantastic.

Any chance of a group buy, to reduce the Brera/Spider cost?

We make the Brera/Spider rear sections in batches of 5 currently, but as we're so busy and they are so labour intensive there isn't going to be much saving to be had. Materials cost will only slightly reduce. There's maybe 10% to be had on a 10-pair batch but they'd all have to be done in one hit to achieve the labour saving (setting up the saw & swager once rather than twice for example). Making them all in one hit means finding somewhere in our schedule where we have a long enough slot of un-booked time to fit them in, and it also means the first person who orders or shows interest might end up waiting a long time until the final person orders and we then build them. I'd be happy to put a few pairs by for stock so say 7 pairs needed to make the batch at a discounted price.

But as it stands now, we have May & June completely booked up, we only really get the odd day here and there when non-Alfa jobs get cancelled or we finish stuff quicker than expected and those days are already filled making cat-back systems. July & August are both pretty much 50% booked up too. We're having a week off in August as well so we'd struggle to fit these in before the back end of summer. Its perhaps not worth the wait for the relatively small saving, but if there are enough people up for it then we'll be happy to do it.

Anyone with a wizard system on a 159 or brera 2.4 could we have a few sound clips / videos , I know alcooker posted his youtube link , if possible maybe a clip or video with the engine running , one with some revs and some if possible whilst in motion so we can hear that there is no droning noise and with some acceleration whilst on the move so we can hear those amazing notes we are all looking for.

We've got a batch of 5 which are not far from completion, but they are all pre-sold. We're absolutely flat out at the moment, never been so busy! We'll re-order bends & tailpipes for another batch of 5 as soon as this current lot are finished.

Can confirm that.
My boss who owns a 997 GT3 even commented on how nice the Wizards sound.
