Odd clutch issue

Started the car this morning and went to set off only to find that the clutch pedal was very low and the bite point was virtually on the floor. Drove to the end of the street and out of interest I lifted the pedal up with my foot. after that the clutch was perfect and pedal travel was restored as was the bite point. this has happened to me twice now and I don't understand it. The clutch was replaced within the last 10K miles as was the DMF. I assume that the slave cylinder and fluid would also have been changed but seems odd that after lifting the pedal with my foot it all went back to normal. No sign of leaking fluid underneath...
