since I am very emotional with my car, I truly have the feeling that she can feel me and my behaviour to her
back to science: well last week we had snow here in Berlin, which was meaning that I had to swap Vespa for Alfa (which was not bad, thank you snow!). now, being beast that she is, was sometimes driving her carefully on slippery parts of the road, along the traffic around us. that was meaning that I was first reluctant on the gas pedal and she between 2000-3000 rpms, where 3.2JTS is known for being reluctant as well. so I started to occasionaly get that check engine signal on the dashboard, which was after some time disappearing. plugged in the MultiEcuScan, no warnings. since I am not driving her that much, was thinking that with all that reluctance from my side in low rpms and fact that she was not driven that much (44k KM since end 2010) might be something with the cat or lambda sensor triggering it. started bit to worry about it. as said, could not register anything with MultiecuScan. so, when snow was gone leaving the car so drity, took her to good wash. after wash, there was no problems with the check engine signal at all. which means for me that there is possibility that some of the lambda sensors (that rear couple exposed to environment more) might have weak contact that needs some attention.
so, as you can see, if I would be believing in the fact that my car has soul, it would be meaning that she was protesting that I was not driving her enough. if I would be rational, problem might be loose contact
I like both answers.
