Removing fuel pump on diesel 1.9 advice
Connected to my swirl flap removal project my understanding is that the fuel pump needs removed so that the inlet manifold (mines the plastic version manifold).
Is there any special procedures in disconnecting anything to do with the fuel components and reconnecting?
I'm aware air in the fuel lines is an issue on diesel vehicles and the systems needs bled and can usually be done manually using a hand primer pump which is built into the system. Does this need done or is it just a case of reconnecting everything as I have not seen a hand primer pump on the car?
