I was told by the second garage the pads look in good condition and discs have at least 10,000 miles on them (that is based upon driving hard too, obviously in the air finger)
They think it is due to the way the discs are wearing and the break pads catch on the lip what is created on the discs over time. I was the sliders and brakes where greased up nicely. They took my car for a drive and again they couldn't recreate the condition but one of the technicians did say they could hear it when I drove in.
They said over time the squeak may go away.
Based upon what I was told I have run out of ideas. The squeak definitely stops when I press the foot brake.
Has anyone got any more ideals?
Alfa Romeo gift and curse in the best possible way
