Alfa brera 3.2 cold revving

Hi all

Had my car a couple of weeks and noticed that when the car is cold it likes to rev at slow speeds. This happens in second gear at slow speeds. As soon as I depress the clutch the engine will give out a flurry of revs. It's very weird and it also causes the car to move on its own like an automatic in 2nd gear. If I simply lift the clutch without touching the accelerator the car will pick up and go to about 10mph. It's quite annoying as means the engine is revving every time I hit the clutch in car parks etc.

However once car is up to temperature the revving stops. Any ideas?

Mine does this a lot in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears, hot or cold. 1st and 2nd are the worst.
But mine's the 2.2 engine.
Only really started after the timing chain was done.
Not as bad if I do very slow gear/clutch changes, but a real PITA.

My 3.2 Q4 also used to do this mainly in first or second and only when cold. However this has stopped since Autolusso recond. all my fuel injectors.
