Car off the road, I'm desperate for you help
I've a faulty rear middle seatbelt mechanism in my 159 Ti. Looking for a replacement from a breakers, but extremely difficult as the car has folding rear seats, and the mech is build into the actual seat. I need to find out if the mech, which I'm aware is different, from a 159 that doesn't have the folding seat, which are more common, will retro fit into a model with folding seats? Is the fixing point, in the folding seat vehicle, so that the mech can be attached to the rear shelf like the non folding version?
Really difficult to word that to make sense, if you need to ask anything please do. The vehicle is off the road currently as it needing MOT which cant be done with dodgy belt. New part from Alfa is available but don't fancy the £170 price tag.
