Hi can anyone help. At this time of year you need your lights to be working. The dark nights come and 50% of my bulbs decide to fail. I drive a 159 sw which I have had for 5 years on an 07 plate and it has been a great car which I want to keep at least until the new giulia is out. However the left indicator and brake light have failed, the right side-light and now the right headlamp bulb has stopped working. The car has a history of the bulbs blowing usually the headlight bulbs which i have replaced several times over the life of the car, and I always use osram, philips etc.. and replace in pairs. This has always solved the problem for 6months/1 year, but tonight I replaced the indicator and brake light and nothing. The dash warnings are still on the lights are still out, and after replacing them the right headlight bulb stopped working. I have not checked the fuse box yet that is next on my list but I cant see it being this. Im starting to wonder if I have electrical issues. The auto wipers stopped working properly a few years back which I could live with but now this. Other issues that may be connected are a windscreen seal leak I had when I first bought the car but now that is sorted. Could that have affected the wiring? It has done 136000 miles and mechanically is fine. Can anyone reassure me it may not be terminal or cost me a fortune, thanks.
