159 Ti Driver Window Issue
A strange thing just happened...
Leaving the car park at work, I lowered the driver door window to speak to a mate. But when I raised it again (which it did no problem), it was like it wanted to keep going up - there was a terrible shuddery rattle when the window fully raised, and the glass was noticeably vibrating. A tiny tap on the downwards button stopped this.
When I got home, I fully lowered the window (which it did no problem), but at its lowest point it started behaving exactly the same - violent shuddering and making a God awful din! Again, a tiny tap in the opposite direction (up this time) stopped this behaviour.
So the window moves perfectly in both directions, up and down. But it's like it doesn't want to stop going when it gets either raised or lowered! I'm guessing there's something like a broken arrestor or sensor that's supposed to detect when the window is fully open or closed and then stop the mechanism.
Before I reach for my wallet, I thought I'd come here and ask the pros for advice. I only found one other similar post regarding this issue with a Brera, but there wasn't a lot of dialogue in it - literally one reply that wasn't very detailed. As always, any help would be greatly appreciated.
