The story is apparently there was an alfa romeo dealership around their way which no longer exists, so according to them they buy up all the local cars that have been through that dealers hand or would have been on that dealers forecourt now ( if it still existed ). All of their cars seemed to be good quality and there weren't any sheds or dodgy looking cars.
The guy I dealt with was there on his own and wasn't the money man i.e had to ring another bloke to agree prices on cars, but he was very pleasant. He didn't give any BS and if he didn't know the answer to a question he rang someone who did instead of just making something up.
My story basically went that 'id wasted a lot of time looking at breras that were described as "stunning" and "immaculate" that turned out to be dogs being sold by dealers who would say anything just to get my money. So I saw this garages one and bearing in mind it was over a two hour drive to it I rang in advance basically telling them that I wasnt going to pay what they were asking and that I really don't want to waste my time traveling to see another dog. So I asked them to describe it condition and they did bang on, they listed every little mark that I didnt even notice myself, and then when I haggled them down they were true to their word and came down by a grand, TBH it was overpriced though.
If you are local they offered a warranty with themselves, however as I wasn't they gave me a third party warranty by autoguard, this is only usefull as emergency toilet paper i'm afraid as they deem everything including timing chains stretching as wear and tear.
