How will I know if the clutch and fly wheel as been changed, if there didn't seem a problem before.

you can get inspection cameras (borescopes) that links to your phone. You can stick them where the rubber bung is or if there is a removable plate between gearbox and engine, you can see from there. This is if its recently done or you will struggle to see much.
