Electrical issues with Alfa 159 (resolved)
Hello! Since Friday I have some kind of electrical issue with my Alfa 159. It's a 2006, sedan, 2.4JTDm 200hp. On Friday, while on the highway the dash displayed hill holder error. Later I've found out that my reverse light is not working (bulb is ok) and the navigation is off by about 50 meters. Since today the boot is not opening nor with the key, neither with the overhead button. I have connected to the ECU with vagcom and discovered error saying "Bad signal from reverse light switch, status Fatal" Today I've replaced the switch but the problem persists. All fuses in the engine bay and underneath the steering wheel were checked, all ground wires around the battery were cleaned. The cruise control works from time to time. Iíve found out that if I switch the lights on and off, the hill holder error disappears. Also, today the dash briefly flashed with rain sensor, auto-leveling, and lights out error. All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
