Could Faulty Cruise Control Be The Issue

further to my DPF post, the garage says the DPF is fine its not blocked. The last thing I did before it lost all power was to try and put on the cruise control which I hadn't used for months, then it lost all power, the mechanic that picked us up said it was just coincidence but now im not sure.

Has anyone had cruise control problems like that?

if so would a car reset fix it potentially and if so how do you do that again? battery lead off for 30 mins?

Why a new thread? Put this in the same thread! (And no, very unlikely to be cruise control)
