Re: Brera Headlamps - Driving in France
There is no practical way of correcting projector lamps for continental driving by applying anything to the outer lens. Sometimes projector units have what is known in the trade as a 'Dover/Calais' lever which modifies the shape of the shade that creates the cutoff to create a 'flat-top' beam suitable for continental driving. You will need to remove the backcap behind the low beam bulb and have a root around for something looking like a lever. If you have HID lamps be VERY careful when poking around inside the lamp, make sure you have your car keys in your pocket not in the ignition!!
If this facility isn't present then the best thing to do is to drop the headlamp aim by using the 'load level' switch. Knock it down 1 notche and you should be fine, if you start to get flashed then drop it 1 more level.
