Alfa Brera 2.4 JTDM... should i

hi all, created new profile on here to see if i could dig up any more info (already trawled countless forum posts)

I've got the opportunity to buy a 57 plate Brera 2.4 SV for just a shade over 7k, mileage seems okay too at 75,000.
basically i want to know if I'm going to have to have deep pockets to run the girl. I've a few hundred left over from my budget for unexpected trouble, should it occur but any major work would leave me stretched to say the least. Surely they cant all be horror stories
As for the car its from a independent dealer who say it has a FSH and recent cambelt & water pump change and offer a 6 months warranty with it. i'm hoping if any major work has been needed then its already been done at that mileage?

what are peoples experiences of similar age and mileage examples?

Thanks in advance folks

Hi. Not yet as the dealer has been prepping it for viewing. With any luck mid next week should be when I get over to have a go in it. What should I be looking/listening out for. I read about earlier ones having dodgy power steering fluid?

Have a read of the buyers guide in the stickies, points to most of the issues, but cambelt is a good thin to have.
Check the front tyres inner edge, any knocks when driving.

If you purchase it, get the EGR blanked, will be the best thing for the car short and long term.

Any spelling/ grammatical errors are purely there to annoy!
