Over the past few days a with the assistance of a fellow Alfa enthusiast we decided to tackle the cleaning of my EGR, Throttle Body, Intake and change of cambelt. All seemed to be going to plan, everything is now reconnected but unfortunately the car now turns over, but wont fire. Very frustrating given the work that has gone into it
I don't think its anything serious but we're both scratching our heads as to what it could be!
Alot of parts were removed to get at the intake (Throttle Body, EGR, Intake, A couple of black boxes behind intake, Fuel Pump, Cambelt and tensioner and idler - all of which are back where they were, and plugged in correctly as far as we can see. Cams and crank were locked in place using the proper timing tools. The fuel pump appears to be working. Glow plugs igniting. The car turns over but just wont fire.
Initially when trying to start the car there was white smoke from the exhaust, but after cranking it a few times that's now stopped. Now it just turns over with no smoke.
I have multiecuscan but that doesn't come up with any error codes unfortunately.
I know this could be like looking for a needle in a haystack, but my brain is fried and I may be missing something very simple.
Thanks in advance for your help
