Thanks for you reply.
It just comes on when I start the car. I guess I have nothing to worry about. I've also changed the fuse in the cigar lighter all works now.
Since doing the Blue & Me update 5.6 which went perfectly smooth no hiccups I can now play my iPod through the Windows USB in the glove compartment, Happy days.
From a cold start though it does seem as though the brakes seems to be sticking hard to explain. When I put my foot on the brake on a small slope a creaking noise and like a stickiness when releasing the breaks. The breaks are a good few months old. Maybe they need breaking in.(No pun intended.)When I am travelling and the wheels have been in use and warmed up not an issue.
The stickiness happened the other day in the garage as explained in my first post.
There is a little dull thud sound going over pot holes but to be honest with my music on not an issue. I will get that looked into once funds are full again. This was on his advert before I purchased the car.
I find the gear change to be spot on not noisy at all the engine sounds like lion ready on the to catch its prey. However I do feel at times there is a tiny bit of lag between putting foot down and accelerating is this normal with an automatic gearbox. The car feels like, it downshifts power before upshifting before I can feel the car wanting to speed down the road. Looking at he turbo dial there is no major jumps from the numbers so that seems fine. Maybe its just me not timing the revs with the speed boost.
I am more than happy with the sound for now, however, I will be investing heavily in this department once funds mount up again.
I will be changing my Alloys as there is a few bubbles on a couple of them but I want some black with a hint of red on them. Can I just buy another set of 17" and put them on as normal or will they need adjust to fit on?
A few stone chips not a big issue I will get these rectified in the near future. I am just waiting on my Alfa Romeo dust caps.
Is it wise to clean the car via one of those car washes where they jet the car before going through the old fashioned car wash? Will this effect the paintwork at all?
Well apart from a few of the issues I am more than happy with my car and in the short time I've had it a few heads have turned.
