..... It didn't make my jaw drop the way the 159 did when I first saw it, and I think my 159 is one of the most handsome cars out there....
Amen to that!
Maybe Alfa Romeo just trying to build a great selling and make it less controversial.. or rather say, extreme looking than the 159 is/was.
Giulia still looks great to me. It has the Alfa look, but in a more acceptable way for the masses.
The 159 still divides people into two groups. Some hate it (how??) and some loves it. At least I've never heard anyone saying " I kinda like it". I always get hot or cold comments, nothing in between.
However I still can't see the Giulia as next big thing on the company car market... TBH I don't mind it. I don't want to see Giulias all over the place, it would loose its individuality. (Think of Italy, every 3rd car you came accross is a Giulietta or a Mito... I got bored of them)
For individuals, time will tell if they are going to get hooked or not.
I'm 100% sure I personally wouldn't choose a BMW or any of the german brands over the Giulia.
And saying " I have an Alfa Romeo" sounds a lot more exquisite then " I have a BMW/Merc/Audi....etc".
Also interested how the "standard" model will look like.
