I read on another thread you are going to tackle your sub frame yourself, we can supply the parts etc so you can fit them while you are doing it then bring the car in for alignment

I wouldn't mind doing that, skills permitting, however I'm short on spare time at the moment and budget, in October I plan on bringing the car to you to get the wheel bearing, bushes, bonnet catch done in one sweep, then get a new set of rears fitted before MOT at the beginning of November. The only other niggles I have apart from the oil leak which seems to have saved a portion of the sub-frame from rust is squeaky brakes which might warrant pads all round plus new discs at the front and a slight squeak from the steering wheel when turning which may require new Power steering reservoir and fluid. As the air-con isn't essential for the MOT i'll leave that for now, but I will give it some attention when I can as I believe this is the route cause of the annoying condensation I can get during muggy days / rainy ones with windows up. After that I can hopefully take a momentary breather.
