Decat / DPF removal 1.9 Jtdm question
Loads of us have had it done, you'll need to get it mapped out though (or the car will try and regen with out it in (loads of smoke out the back!). There is a slightly improvement in responsiveness and improvement in consumption (the regen just involves throwing fuel down the exhaust).
The best improvement you will get is deleting/ blanking the EGR, again requires a map or a dongle (search on here). There are restrictor plates too that give some of the advantages (again do a search)
In the UK there is legislation to ensure cars retain their DPF (so would advise you take out the insides and keep the DPF in place), not sure about the rules in Norway though
Any spelling/ grammatical errors are purely there to annoy!
