Dodgy / sticky clutch pedal - 159 1.9 JTDM
This morning I noticed that my clutch pedal wouldn't return to its normal position - it comes back up about half way. It made it tricky for a pullaway. Once it was used a few times and everything got warmer it seemed to be OK.
However, when left idling for a minute, it didn't return properly again and it made it tricky to pull away as it felt that the bite wasn't in the same place because of the pedal's returning position!
Very odd. The clutch doesn't slip or judder and the car engages gear perfectly (after a full M32 gearbox rebuild last year!).
I've seen a couple of similar threads about this. Am really hoping it's a pedal action lubricating issue.
Is it a common problem? Please tell me there's a simple fix. I can't face another gearbox out situation!
A worried thanks in advance!
Rockin' all over the road!
