Thought things had been going too well with this car ...
Today I got a "Temporary hood failure - consult handbook" message whilst closing the hood. Had to manually close the hood, following the procedure in the handbook. The powered hood is now inoperative, although I can hear the motor whirring away in the back.
Subsequent to that I got a low oil level warning light and message which was a bit of a shock considering the car has only done about 200 miles. On checking the oil I found it to be fine, so I wonder if the fault with the hood could be related (electrical problem?).
Hopefully this is just a hood reset type fix, but wondered if any of the other Spider or Brera owners (2.2 JTS) have had a problem with the oil level sensor?
I had a message pop up with a loud bong declaring 'limited cruise range' - I shat myself for a moment until I realised it was just letting me know I was low on petrol!
Yeah, I had that too just the other day, it was quite startling at first. Thought it was a bit over cautious considering the gauge was just a smidgen below 1/4, though of course that's probably only about 50 miles.
