Still very confused

So, having owned my Brera 2.4 for five months I decided that as this was the first decent day I would give it an oil service. I have been wanting to do this from day one, more so after hearing the horror stories of the front sub frame. Anyhow, up on ramps hoping that the undertray will come off easily, which in the main it did, probably partly due to the fact that half the bolts holding on we're missing. One thing that did annoy me was the rivnuts started to spin will trying to get the bolts out. It came off after a bit of s talking to and to my delight the sub frame looked very tidy, but why oh why do mechanics tighten up sump plugs as they do, the oil filter was not much better, I needed a fairly big breaker bar to shift it. After that it was plain sailing, the air filter behaved itself, the only other job while the car was up in the air was to change the assmatic horns, surprising easy job. I spent the rest of the time drilling out broken rivnuts and tapping new threads.
Tomorrow, new discs and pads.
