Spider lamba indentification
My 2008 Brera Spider has been back to the (non-Alfa) dealer I bought it from five times now to try and put out the engine managment light. It stays off for a few days and pings on again at regular intervals. Now come to the conclusion that all they are doing is cancelling the code, wiping the bonnet and hoping for the best.
Took the car for an independant diagnosis and it came up with lambas 1 and 2 faulty. Now which ones are they - into the cat or out? Guy who diagnosed fault services my main car so feel he knows what he's talking about.
Now been told to sort the issue and send bill to dealer who sold me the car which is fair enough but need to indentify which parts to order - OR could it be a timing chain issue rearing its head?
History that came with the car shows it had new chains fitted at 46k and mileage is now at 71k. Thought replacement chains, (fitted by a Nottinghamshire based main dealer) were tougher than the originals and surely the code for that would be cam sensor fault, not exhaust.
Anyway, can anyone identify the lambas or are they the same on both sides of the cat?
