Well Happy Another work of Alfa Tuning Art from Gus at Alfatune

I know that there are many such posts on the forum that have discussed the pro's and con's of remaps, EGR blank\delete and DPF removal HOWEVER, having just collected my 159 1.9 JTMm 16V from Gus after having the works I could not be more delighted with the result. Faster, smoother, less turbo lag, more power, more torque and better MPG, what on earth could be better than the best of all worlds in such a fantastic looking piece of Italian design.

I have owned it for just 5 weeks and must admit that I am head over heels in love with my 159.

You are neither obligated to agree with my views nor visit Gus, but if you already enjoy your 159 in standard guise, you have only just started, you simply do not know what you are missing.

Had my egr blanked and deleted by Autolusso, stuck some redex through tank and car feels rapid, instant power esp in 3rd.
I test drove a 1.9jtdm today 2 year newer and it felt sluggish by comparasen, quick but did not make me smile like mine does.
Will be looking for mild remap and dpf delete in the near future.

I'm pretty sure Alfatune won't be happy with you suggesting they delete DPFs?

He said they deleted EGR and removed DPF which of course would need DPF delete, but it's hardly a secret Alfatune do it, it's on their website

My 159 2.4 was remapped by Gus after 1000 miles from new.

It has new done over 103000 miles and has been superb and faultless.
