Re: Alfa 159 Mud Flaps
I have to travel down country lanes to work so my 159 was always plastered in mud up both sides. I was worried about damage to the paintwork and had mud flaps fitted by the dealer, although they said they did not look good. Anyway I went ahead and they look quite neat and even the dealer said they were better than they were led to believe. They do save the sides of the car and cut down the frequency of car washing and risk of damage from scratching.
The dealer fitted them free as a gesture of good because my car was in for repair but they are pretty straight forward to fit. They are made of rubber and rear sets are availabe. A full set cost about £70, although I was originally quoted £180 to have them fitted by the dealer!
