I'm sure Brera has seatbelt pretensiors, but yes, I think they are different from 159 - inside seat-belt assembly rather than inside seat-belt bucle. Question was, if I needed to also order the buckles, but I think I have decided and will only order the belts.
I could feel the pretensioners pretty good during the accident. But airbags were completely pointless, didn't even come close to my face. Airbags actually did everything else than helped - I almost ran the car off the road or into oncoming traffic - I was completely blinded by them, and the dust emitted and the passenger airbag cracking the windshield. + It was dark and snowing. The impact didn't even slow the car down.
Would 159-s seat belt buckles and seat belts both need replacement in case of an accident?
As in case of airbag control module, I do think that yes, there is no electro-magnetic switch which fires and cannot be reset - BUT - during the accident it records the crash data and will trigger the airbag light until the crash data is cleared.
Someone has written wonderful manual for 159 dasboard removal, and I will follow this.
The car will be actually done by a pro, not me, but he hasn't repaired any 159-s or Breras.
