I have the same buzzing noise coming from behind my head from time to time (as described in the orignial post on this thread) I've been monitoring this & is interesting to note that others are having the same problem. I'll ask Guest Alfa in Knowle to look at this at the next service.
I've had a very long list of minor niggles and rattles which for a £30k car is utterely dispappointing but I still love my Bella. To summarise for the benefit of others who may be having similar problems:-
I had a very annoying rattle/buzzing from within the roof lining which was caused by the metal slider for the sun blind (when you pushed on the roof lining above drivers head, the problem stopped). Guest Alfa in Knowle resolved this last November.
I've also had a very annoying rattle from within the dashboard (beneath the air vents in the centre of the dash board) which Guest Alfa have resolved (they appeared to have prior knowledge of this problem) bit in fixing it they have jammed shut the left air vent on top of the dash! which I only noticed since we had the cold spell before Christmas - I'll get this sorted at the next service.
Apart from the occasional creaking from the drivers seat when going round a roundabout and a drivers side window which appears to have a life of it's own on occasions (drops down a few inches when closing the door from time to time?!) not too mention the alarm regulalrly going off and squeaky passenger seat, my Bella looks fantadstic!!
But please don't get me started on the laughable quoted 41 mpg ?!!! I struggle to average 30mpg after 12,000 miles (had hoped for 35-37 mpg) but have only ever seen the trip computer read over 40 mpg when re-setting it whislt travelling between 50 to 60mph!! rubbish! (best saved for the other thread on this subject).
This wasn't intended to be a rant about my Bella but a £30K car simply should not have this many problems / rattles
This is my first taste of Alfa Romeo and at best can be described as a 'strange' mix of emotions, with the bad bits largely forgotten once I'm about about five strides away from her and having to take one last glance over my shoulder before leaving the car park - she is beautiful
