Hope it's not too late for a quick reply. I use Nokian on all my cars and GF's car, both winter - Nokian WR D3 and summer - zLine.
Before these I used Michelin Alpine A4 (winter) and Pirelli/Bridgestone (summer).
Nokian feels better at handling than Michelin (those winter tyres had some soft sidewalls, and would allow the car to wobble a bit) and about the same as the Pirelli - forgot the model name. They are also noisier. As for tyre wear, they last me about 2-3 seasons/20-30K km on my 159 TBi, with sportive driving style, and about 4-5 seasons/40K km on my 156 2.0 JTS with moderate driving style. As for my GF's lower-powered cars, we throw them out because of old age, after 5 years.
