I did see that thread, it didn't make for pleasant reading and to be honest this where I feel a bit confused as plenty of people get a decent MPG, but then lots also get a poor MPG. Is it just a difference in the cars and how they are driven?
I drive a mix of motorway, B roads and back lanes. If I am just driving the 3 miles to work it is woeful, a week of only being in the office will see low twenties and a definite feeling of the engine becoming clogged up. If I watch the live MPG gauge I can be barely touching the throttle on the flat in 3rd gear and I will see 13 MPG, that is surely not right is it? Once warm it seems better, although it seems to have good days and bad days.
