2.4JTDM Loss Of Power - DPF?
If the DPF keeps coming up as am error, then I think you should try and resolve this. dPFs have a finite life anyway (anywhere over 80k I've read), and it can be shorter if you had issues in the past or what driving you've done
There is also an official alfa engine map update that is said to resolve many of the 2.4 idle issues. Ned at autolusso can advise on this and your DPF issue.
I would also investigate the manifold area. Give the MAP sensor a clean as a matter of course. The other big issue could be the swirl flaps, depending on your model year you can check easily ( read the power loss guide in the stickies).
Certainly for mine, I sprayed a load of EGR cleaner into the manifold area ( through the EGR and MAP holes) and this seems to have helped a little (a fair whack of smoke on start)
Any spelling/ grammatical errors are purely there to annoy!ma
