159 2.4 Clutch and flywheel change
Hi guys, just joined the forum but have been reading threads for a few months since buying my first alfa
Its a 159ti 2.4jtd... I bought it at 56k in october and after about 2 weeks noticed the clutch starting to slip very slightly. I am a mechanic by trade so thought no big deal ill do the clutch and flywheel when it gets a bit worse. A friend of mine is being very nice and will let me use his ramp but the conditions are that it gets done in a day Everything im hearing is that you have to drop the subframe completely and its really a day and a half to 2 days work for one person?..
I cant find any threads on the procedure from removing the gearbox on here myself, does any one know of any guides so i get an idea of what im up against? any help would be much appreciated
The car had been to AHM and had EGR blanked, DPF removed and a remap, goes nicely and am happy with the car apart from the clutch issue...
