Had the engine management light come on last night and since I get AA through my bank I thought I may as well use them. They came out and they scanned it for me and it threw up 5 errors;
P0011 - Exhaust camshaft control signal improbable
P0575 - Cruise control operating device signal improbable
P0564 - Cruise control operating device maximum exceeded
P0016 - Syncronisation of exhaust camshaft (Bank 1) with crankshaft less than minimum
P0139 - O2 sensor (bank 1 sensor 2) no signal
Spoke to MVC in Sale and the guy on the phone was incredibly helpful and it is going in on Friday to be looked at. He thinks it may be the timing chain, however I have told him that the timing chain got replaced in February '13 (under warranty with previous owner) when the car had 21.5k miles on it, it's now only got 38k on it and it looks like it may have gone again!!
Will not be happy if it is the timing chain that has gone after only 2 years and 18k miles
I did speak to AR customer services who advised that because the car is 5 years old now they won't do anything but they will open up a case and if it is confirmed as a timing chain then I can call back and raise the case if I want to.
Sorry for the rant but I'm a little miffed
