All over cover (thread mainly for Spiders)

In a recent thread (sorry, lost it) I mentioned using a roof/windows cover for frosty nights and I was asked where I bought it but sorry to that person as I cant find it anywhere, there are loads online though.

During that thread Lussoman mentioned having an all over cover and one line in that post got me thinking, it was to do with a roof emergency.
It totally makes sense to have a back up plan so I have been looking at all over covers and come up with, and just purchased, a lightweight cover from that should fold up small enough to take up hardly any boot space and give me that emergency insurance.
I went for the lightweight Voyager cover as mine is a daily driver and its more as an insurance than as a 'garage', for longer term storage they have the Stormforce cover that I was close to getting.

Anyone looking for a cover Id suggest checking these out, they have 4 or 5 different options material and weight wise.

Cost ?
the Voyager cover was 86 inc P+P, in the event of a roof failure that could be inexpensive.

the heavy duty Stormforce was 158 (I think)

Yes, SpiderSaint, I think every Spider owner would sleep easier knowing they had a back-up plan.

My cover was very useful when the door glass wouldn't go all the way back up due to a roof problem.
I now know how to solve this problem if it happens again, but at the time putting a cover over it to keep the rain out was my only option.
I've not had to use it since, but you never know...
I think I got it from Argos, a 'car top cover,' obviously not specific to the Spider but it does work very well.
It covers the entire roof, windows etc, and secures through the wheels at each corner.

Past: GTV T.Spark Lusso (owned 8 years) Present: 948 Spider LE (bought Nov. '10) Future: 8C (in my dreams )
Previously (selective): Porsche 944 Turbo; Porsche 944S; Jaguar XJ6; Audi Coupe; Mark 2 Golf GTI.

I've bought one of these
And I haven't even picked the car up yet! Looks good quality and as you say, it gives peace of mind.
