Re: 159 3.2 V6 Q4
I have a 3.2 Brera and have found that whilst the car isn't GTA quick it's a good cruiser with enough poke to get you easily into license loosing territory -the grip given by the AWD is awesome I very rarely see the traction light you generally have to be being a loon on a private road your honour for it to light...
More importantly the engine is one of those that loosens up significantly as the miles go on - I'm at nearly 15K now and she's still getting better...
I was looking at an RX-8 PZ when I was shopping for the brera - one thing that won't change much is fuel economy the 3.2's range from 16 to 25mpg depending on car and driver, but use very little oil (unlike the old 3.2 which was thirsty - but not as bad as the '8).
The build qualities are worlds apart and the material quality likewise - you can see where the extra money went. The PZ ride was really bad I think it went too far...
Things are not as black and white as alfa_147 makes out, the Q4 system weighs as much as any other AWD system - the issue is pretty much all the modern crud that goes in a car - the new 3 series isn't exactly light..
