Way less than Napastar's quote, I'll hold back from posting publicly the price as I think this first batch will be slightly cheaper than the future ones as they've taken quite a bit more work to produce than we first anticipated, but we're just replacing the two backboxes rather than the centre section as well. We chose not to bother with the centre section for the moment as they are generally OK from factory, either completely straight through on the diesels or with a small straight-through silencer on the petrols, so in terms of bang-per-buck there is much more to be had from upgrading the backboxes than doing the centre section.
Fitting isn't too bad, much easier than a Brera, its helpful if you have a spirit level to make sure your centre section is on straight to begin with, then its just a case of removing the old backboxes and sliding on the replacements. The locating studs on the centre section need to be removed (Dremel or grinder job really, hacksaw & file would probably do at a push) as we've used a slightly longer sleeve joint than the original backboxes. This also means the exhaust can be slipped on pointing down and then rotated up into place once they are fully home.
