I've had my SW for a week now, too.
Have to agree about boot opening ... "unlock" unlocks it, but it would have been handy if it popped it open just a wee bit more, there being no kind of exterior handle or recess. Never mind.
My clutch is fine (1.9 diesel). In fact, I thought it was a bit light if anything. Most of my driving is on country roads now I've got it home (after an initial 620-mile motorway scoot), and I've found it performs admirably.
Personally, I think the interior is ace. Particularly at night with everything lit up red. Looks like an aeroplane cockpit!
I also get a wee squirt of water on my front screen when operating the rear washer. I take it that the car's just a bit incontinent! My problem is that the rear washer doesn't always work. The wipe (downwards on the control) works every time, but the washer (upwards) seems to please itself whether it works fine or not at all. Could be a dodgy relay, I suppose, or just an "undocumented feature"! The auto-wipers are most entertaining, too.
My only gripe so far is that the folding mirrors only seem to fold in about an inch when I press the button. Pretty useless, but maybe I'm not doing it right or need to reset them or something.
