Re: Seeking advice on 159 Run-in
I would just drive the car normally once it has warmed up but not rev to rev limit for the first 1000 miles or so and vary the speed when cruising. i.e. do not pamper it by using light throttle and gentle acceleration which does not help the rings bed properly and do not thrash-it by doing full throttle to the floor acceleration as may lead to localised hotspots and do not lug it by driving with too few revs.... IMHO up to 2/3 max revs is no problem with your new car during acceleration (ie keep with the traffic as you are less likely to have an accident!!!!!)
Modern engines do not need the 'pedantic' driving in of yesteryear.
