I started with 4 P Zeros,
Which were good, grippy, no problems.
to 4 Acceleras,
Which were slippy and slidey and a lot of fun, but not good for fast roundabouts.
then replaced the front acceleras with 2 Conti Sport 2's which were nice and grippy again and gave me more confidence in the wet.
Just put 4 Firestone Winterhawk (winter tyres) on which are fantastic, in the snow round Manchester this morning I was driving normally at normal speeds with no problems whilst everyone around me was slipping and sliding around like they had slicks on.
When the weather improves I'll replace the Winterhawks but don't know what with, maybe acceleras on the back (but def not on the front) maybe some more P Zeros, or some Nankangs (had some on a track MX5 a few years ago and they were exceptional) it will depend how much I have in my pocket on the day, Prob buy some more wheels as well, £10 a corner to change tyres each spring/autumn will soon be saved by having a set of winter/summer tyres which I can change myself.
that's prob no use whatever but I just felt like joining in a tyre thread.
