Brera and cold weather
This morning it was about 3 below and the car had a healthy coating of frost on it. Now my Brera does not get much use and has sat for a week, so this morning, the first with a real heavy frost whilst it's been in my care I went out to clear it off. Now with my wife's Punto, I just open it up, start it and then scrape the ice, but mindful of the window drop I sprayed around the seals etc before unlocking, that was a waste of time, and then the door catches were frozen and also the door seals, having said that once in it started on the button. The passenger was even more reluctant to open, made worse by one irritated wife getting cold while watching me struggle to open the door. But I know what will happen, I will go out and buy some kind of cover and the weather will improve, dohhhhh. I think inneed to move to a warmer climate.
Just an after thought, once in it and warmed up, the whole episode was worth while, just love this car, even though it is fuelled by satans tea!
